Attention shoppers–only 34 days until Christmas. Have you got a gift for that special someone in your life yet? No? Well, you’ve still got time, and the Orion Art Center can help you bring home the smiles this Christmas.
You’re sure to find a uniqe gift if you stop by the 12th annual Holiday Market at 424 S Broadway (next to Diamond Dave’s Creative Jewelers).
Nov. 29 through Dec. 22, 40 members of the Orion Art Center will display their wares for your perusal. You’ll find handmade pottery, photographs, jewelry, fiber art, clothing and many more items you’ll not find in one of the big box stores.
‘Artists are small business owners,? said Art Center director Lauren Dinneweth. While you fill out your shopping list, you can also take advantage of this opportunity to show your support for these entrepreneurs. There is plenty of room for other artists, so if you’d like to participate call the Orion Art Center at 248-693-4986.
Parents, be sure to bring your kids along because Santa will be there on Dec. 9th and 16th from noon to 4 p.m. Pictures, wish lists, and memories with Santa are free of charge.
The grand opening will be Nov. 29 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
From Nov. 30 to Dec. 22, the Holiday Market will be open from noon to 8 p.m. Sunday’s hours are from noon to 4 p.m.
