Dig out your old green and white sweatshirt. Lake Orion High School’s Homecoming Parade this Friday in the Village of Lake Orion. It’s scheduled to begin at 5 and conclude by 5:30 p.m.
The parade route starts at the Ehman Center on Elizabeth Street, travels southbound on Broadway to Front, continues westbound along Front Street to Lapeer Street and northbound back to the center.
The Lake Orion Police Department plans to begin closing roadside parking along North and South Broadway starting from Shadbolt and ending at Front Street beginning at 3 p.m.
At 4:30, street closures will consist of M-24 at South Broadway, M-24 at Flint, M-24 at Shadbolt, M-24 at Church, M-24 at Elizabeth and Flint Street at Perry Street.
Some local residential streets will be closed to traffic and will remain closed until approximately 6 p.m.
