Following the success of their last house concert, Craig Carrick and his family are once again hosting a two-act concert for music lovers on March 12.
Come hear old time string music with a major twist from The Salt Miners. Carrick describes the group as a cross between Earl Scruggs and The Squirrel Nut Zippers. The groups is nearing the end of tour throughout the southern United State and will be traveling straight from Georgia to perform in Clarkston.
The Carrick family is very excited to have Jill Jack perform at their home. Her music can be described as folk, rock and blues mixed together and the Carricks have been fans for years.
Doors open at 3 p.m. and visitors are encouraged to come early to enjoy refreshments and mingle with the artists. Please RSVP at 248-394-0113 or e-mail carrickhome1@netscape.net. Seating is limited so RSVP only if you plan to attend.
