Stephen Hyer leads Clarkston Board of Education for another year, elected unanimously to be board president by fellow trustees.
‘I thank you for your trust,? Hyer said at the July 13 organizational meeting. ‘I’m certainly not looking to hold this office in perpetuity ? several board members are preparing to take over the position in future years.?
Officers are elected to one-year terms. New board officers also include Vice President Susan Boatman, Treasurer Joe Armstrong, and Secretary Cheryl McGinnis.
