Super Singers from Oxford and Clear Lake elementaries took to the stage of the high school’s Fine Arts Center Saturday to perform the musical ‘Destination Rock.?
The concert took the audience on a journey through rock ‘n? roll history from the 1950s to the 1980s, from Elvis and Motown to the British Invasion and Bon Jovi.
If it’s too loud, you’re too old!
Forget Jack Black!
Oxford’s School of Rock was in session last week as students from Lakeville and Leonard elementaries paid tribute to the rock musicians who defined generations and forced millions of annoyed parents to utter those immortal words ? ‘Turn down that noise!?
Dressed as various members of the Rock ‘n? Roll Hall of Fame, the kids created a living wax museum at Oxford High School.
With the simple press of a button, each figure came to life and recited numerous facts about the rock legends they were portraying.
The students then took to the OHS stage to perform hits from the Beach Boys, Beatles, Van Halen and Michael Jackson.
