Indian Springs hosts Great Pumpkin Hunt

Indian Springs Metropark off White Lake Road in Springfield Township hosts a Great Pumpkin Hunt of 2010 , 11 a.m.-2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 9.
Pumpkin hunters search for clues hidden in pumpkins to solve a puzzle. Winners under age 16 can collect prizes.
Lunch provided by Midway-style food vendors or pack a picnic. Entertainment includes Rosco the Clown, and pumpkin painting with Library Larry.

‘We’re planning a community wide gathering for residents of the Huron Valley, just like they did in times past, when time went a little slower and neighbors come together to visit,? said Linda Erlich, Pumpkin Hunt chairperson. ‘We’re hoping our friends and neighbors throughout the Huron Valley come out to enjoy this beautiful park.?
Vehicle entry permits are $25 annually for regular admission, $15 annually for seniors, or $5 daily.
