It wasn’t a good time

Although many of the downtown streets were blocked off all day on Thursday by police cars, drivers didn’t have a problem being kept out of the downtown area — except one man.
According to LO Police Chief Jerry Narsh, one driver did get out his car and approach a police officer while flames were still coming out of the Sagebrush Cantina.
The man told the officer he heard the restaurant was on fire and he needed to talk to the owner right away.
He explained he had received a $10 gift certificate to the Cantina the night before and wanted a refund right away.
The officer escorted him back to his car.
