On Sept. 18, the Ortonville Community Emergency Fund (OCEF) will accept books, collectibles, toys, household items, tools sporting goods, furniture and miscellaneous items for a sale Sept. 20-22 to benefit the local food pantry. All profits will be used to assist the needy residents in the Ortonville community. Due to lack of storage, large appliances, mattresses, couches, used building supplies and items in disrepair cannot be accepted. Details: (248) 625-9110.
