In the old days, kids threatened to run away and join the circus.
Now, the circus comes to them.
The Livonia-based Cirque Amongus visited Oxford Elementary School May 16 and turned the student body into jugglers, acrobats, clowns, tightrope walkers, ringmasters and other Big Top performers.
Students spent the entire day learning how to do fun things such as walk on stilts and form human pyramids.
When they were done, they put on their very own three-ring circus right in the middle of the school’s gymnasium. What fun!
