The Lake Orion Dragons Youth Football program will hold a parent information night and new player sign up on May 25 at Lake Orion High School, from 6-9 p.m.
First come, first served and limited availablity. Football players and cheerleaders are needed. The organization is looking for youths between ages 8-14.
Non-paid volunteers are needed. Volunteers coach, are board members, spotters, help run concessions, take tickets and help with fundraisers.
The first annual Bocce Ball Tournament and Silent Auction fundraiser is being planned, and parents will be needed for concessions at Ford Field and home games.
Teams are: Freshman (8-9 years old, max weight 115 pounds), Junior Varsity (10-11 years old, max weight 135), Varsity (12-13 years old, max weight 160) and Varsity (14 years old, max weight 140).
Practices are five days a week to begin season and prepare for first game; after first game, three times a week, off Mondays and Fridays.
Birth certificates, football cleats, mouth guards and athletic supporter required.
