Lake Orion Men’s Softball League results

Wagon Wheel II and Cobra Computers picked up their first LOMSL victories on June 9.
Wagon Wheel II won, 18-17 against SOS Mechanical in 10 innings. Ray McCarrick (3-for-5) scored the winning run in the bottom of the 10th on a single by Zach Poulin (2-for-5).
Mark Brancheau paced the winner with a 4-for-4 night at the plate, and Dean Shinavier chipped in with three hits in three trips. Dwayne Smith went 5-for-7 and John Vackaro went 2-for-4 with a homerun for SOS.
Cobra Computers defeated Hamlin Pub, 14-6. Tony Agro went 3-for-3 to pace Hamlin Pub.
Wagon Wheel I defeated BW3s, 34-30, and Mike Schroeder and Charlie Wellman were 3-for-4 each in the losing effort.
Wagon Wheel I snapped a five-game skid and improved to 4-5 with this victory. BW3s made a late charge with an 8-run rally in the 9th, but it wasn’t enough.
Keith Lester went 7-for-7 with a homerun to pace the winners, while Darrin Lamphere and Dave Beltz were 7-for-8 each, and Bobby Lawton went 6-for-7.
Brian Dennison and Ron Brunson were 6-for-7 each to lead BW3s. Dave Barkley (4-for-5), Paul Sokol (4-for-7) and Dave Bullock (3-for-7) each hit homeruns for BW3s.
Quality Fast Construction defeated Tool, Sport and Sign, 32-21. Quality fast scored six in the first and seven in the second inning to jump out to a 13-0 lead.
Tool Sport used a 10-run rally in the top of the fifth to cut the gap to 19-16, but Quality Fast scored three with the hammer in the fifth, and added four in the sixth.
Quality Fast had five more in the seventh to wrap up its fourth win against five losses, as Tool Sport fell 5-4.
Mike Bendle was 4-for-4 with a homerun to spark Quality Fast. Jason Heist was 3-for-3 with three walks, while Eric Brittingham went 5-for-6 for the winners.
Lou Columbus and Troy Russnell were 4-for-5 each to carry Tool Sport. Brett Slocum chipped in with a 4-for-6 night at the plate.
The Eagles defeated Ruby Tuesdays, 14-7, as the Eagles remained the league’s only unbeaten team. Chris Mize paced the Eagles with four hits in four trips.
Derek Hoffman (2-for-4) and R. Reynolds (2-for-5) each homered for the winners. Ed Stanek chipped in with a 2-for-2 effort off the bench.
Mike Isola was 2-for-3, while Ricky Slater, Steve Pappin, Tony Lankford and Steve Bailey were 2-for-4 each for Ruby Tuesdays.
McKinney Brothers Carpentry defeated Griffin Fence, 11-4. The win gives MBC an 8-1 ledger while Griffin Fence suffered its second loss of the season against seven wins.
Matt Moulder had a pair of homers in a 3-for-3 performance to carry MBC. Carl McEvers and Roy Robbins were 3-for-4 each.
For Griffin Fence, Rob Griffin was 3-for-4, and Bruce Walters and Bill Bliss were 2-for-2.
