Last week, hundreds of Lakeville Elementary students participated in the annual Jump Rope for Heart event, a fund-raiser for the American Heart Association.
The kids did all sorts of things to get their heart rates up including jumping rope and hula-hooping.
Each participant collected pledges, which will be used to help fund heart and stroke research and raise awareness about the importance of eating healthy and leading an active lifestyle.
All in all, the kids had a ball.
