Learn about National Cemetery at seminar

Lewis E. Wint & Son Funeral Home hosts a Veterans Seminar , 10 a.m. or 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 15, at the American Legion Post 63, 8047 Ortonville Road.
The free event will feature speakers Jim Goldsmith, assistant director of the Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly; Dan Crocker, state director of Michigan Veterans Services, and Jack Becher, office supervisor for Oakland County Veterans. They will talk about veterans benefits provided by the federal government.
‘We hope there is a good turnout,? said Connie Glynn, advanced planning consultant and expert on Veterans Burial benefits. ‘There is a lot available for our veterans in this area. The community needs to have this information in their hands in order to make informed decisions.?
