Springfield Plains Elementary students spent their Festival Day last week learning from dozens of professionals, volunteering their time.
Students picked their top five choices, and were scheduled accordingly, said Teri Spytman, who chaired the committee with kelli Horst and Traci Greenlee.
“We tried to get at least three out of their five,” Spytman said.
Planning started in January.
“It took a lot of coordination,” she said.
