My husband & I were walking in downtown Oxford with our 9 month old Great Dane
puppy. A lady from Lili’s Diner welcomed us to have dinner at her restaurant on the outside patio with our puppy.
We were so touched by her generosity. We took her up on her kind offer. She even brought out a bowl of water for our puppy.
What she did meant so much to me because our puppy is a specials needs puppy who cannot be left alone. He is deaf.
Since adopting him Jan 4, 2013 we have not been out to dinner. In order to do that we would have to pay a sitter & entrust his care to someone else. This lady didn’t know us or our situation but her kindness allowed us to have a wonderful dinner with excellent service on a beautiful evening with our puppy, Tundra. I just wanted to say thank you.
I’ll never forget that.
