In addition to the township offices up for election in Addison Township, a total of six candidates filed nominating petitions to run for the Addison Township Public Library Board of Trustees. They include Nina Ciccolini, Sandra Craddock, Susan Hatfield, Esther Reynolds, John Rosenberg and Phyllis Jubelt.
In Oxford Township, those running for library board include Tony Rizzo, Kathy Hoeflein, Jean Davidson, Thomas Offer, Duane Salswedel and Sue Stillwell.
Candidates running for Oxford Township Parks and Recreation Commission include Lynette Johnson, Theresa Myer, Richard Laidler, Alyse Prince and Ronald Roop.
Library board contests are non-partisan and take place in November whereas the parks and rec. commission election is partisan contest and will be decided on the Aug. 5 primary ballot. All Oxford parks and rec. candidates are running as Republicans.
