LifeHorse at Grand Review Farm held their annual Spring Show June 23.
LifeHorse is a specially designed therapeutic horseback riding program in Oxford for terminally and chronically ill children to ride and be around horses.
Trophies were given to all equestrian riders and were generously donated by Bethany Gyomory. The kids competed in everything from showmanship (where they lead the horse) to barrel racing.
Classes were sponsored by local businesses, and the event was to help raise money for an indoor arena.
The special moment of the day was when LifeHorse kid Justin Hagel was presented his trophy by his proud father who is recovering from a fusion of the vertebrae in his neck.
Every kid left with a trophy and a smile!
