Ryan James Bauman, son of Doug and Midge Bauman attained the rank of Eagle Scout as a representativeof Ortonville Boy Scout Troop 337.
Bauman earned the rank after completing a six month project of planning, raising the funds for and promoting help to complete a patio sitting area at the Ortonville United Methodist Church.
Choosing a tangible project, Bauman raised more than $500 for the project which included benches, stone, slag and landscaping and a plaque.
