On her 12th birthday Shelby Barker of Ortonville chose to give a gift of long blond hair to Locks of Love. After a day of being treated to a complete make-over, Barker donated her hair to children who may have lost theirs from medical treatment. Marybeth Hamilton of First Impressions Hair Salon did the honors of snipping more than eight inches from the birthday girl.
