As reported in The Lake Orion Review’s Lake Orion Men’s Softball League report in the June 29, 2005 edition, Roger Bailey recently joined the 1,000-hits club, in a game against the Eagles and Griffin Fence on June 23. Bailey’s team, the Eagles, were defeated by Griffin, 23-22. Bailey’s 1,000-th career hit came in the top of the game’s fifth inning. Bailey joins other LOMSL players Brad Cline, Bobby Lawton, Marty Lietke and Ray Hillman, in getting 1,000 hits. Photo submitted.
