LO’s Reiss is Athletic Director OFT

In a vote by fellow athletic directors, who represent 59 public, private and parochial school, Lake Orion Athletic Director William Reiss was named the 2013 Oakland County Athletic Director of the Year.
The presenters cited his leadership as President of the Oakland Activities Association (OAA), and as President of the Oakland County Athletic Directors Association (OCADA).
During Reiss’s ten-year tenure as Lake Orion AD, the Dragons have earned six state championships, and twice brought home state runner-up trophies.
Reiss was also credited by the County and the Michigan High School Athletic Association (MHSAA) for Lake Orion’s willingness to serve as perennial hosts for many of the state’s top tournament games.
“This award would not have been possible without the support of the Lake Orion community, school board, administrative staff, coaches, and players. They provided the impetus to earn this award,? Reiss said.
