Man finds strange camera, passport in his home

The Oakland County Sheriff’s Department responded to a call of strange circumstances at a home on Paul Drive on Nov. 25.
According to the OCSD report, a 56-year-old man was cleaning out a closet in his basement when he found a camera and a US passport that didn’t belong to him.
The man found the items in a blanket in the closet.
He said his daughter did not know the person the passport belonged to, and said he’d had no break-ins lately.
The man said he lives in the home with his wife and daughter, and that his daughter lives downstairs.
He said she sometimes had her boyfriend and other friends over.
The man said his daughter’s boyfriend used to live in the basement.
The OCSD found the passport had been reported stolen, but the person owning the passport was not missing a camera.
