Casey Curtis is a new writer for the Oxford Leader. A recent graduate from Oakland University in Rochester, Casey has a Bachelor’s degree in journalism and has written for The Daily Oakland Press in Pontiac and The Daily Tribune in Royal Oak.
She will be covering Addison Township, Oxford Schools and doing assorted features and news stories.
Casey grew up in Ferndale, Michigan and now resides in White Lake with her parents, Scott and Mary, and two younger sisters, Erin and Kelly.
Casey’s currently busy planning her wedding in September to her fiance Scott. The two met in high school and have been a couple ever since.
Her favorite area of reporting is feature writing because she gets to use her creative skills. Besides writing, she enjoys photography, music, theatre, teaching Sunday school, and going to the movies.
