Joan Esther Mendelsohn formerly of Northbrook, IL passed peacefully on July 27, 2011 at the age of 78. Joan is remembered by many loving friends and family for her dedication to helping others. Joan worked for many years at the Independence Township Senior Adult Activity Center.
A memorial gathering will be on Monday, August 22, 2011 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Independence Township Senior Center at Clintonwood Park on 6000 Clarkston Road, Clarkston, MI 48348. Memorial Service will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the Center. Come by and share your stories about Joanie with her family and friends.
