Goodrich – As awareness increases, so do the number of photographs on the high school’s military alumni board.
Located near the gymnasium door, the board now highlights 31 active-duty military personnel, all graduates of Goodrich High School.
Teacher Bill Duso, who started the board along with art teacher Kay Goodall, has watched the number of military alumni grow.
‘It went from 11 to 19 to 31,? said Duso.
More active-duty alumni pictures and information have been submitted by community members, who read about it in the news and on the school’s Web site (see http://www.goodrich.k12.mi.us/comservices/veteranalumni.htm).
‘The click of a mouse is so powerful,? says Duso, who hopes the military board serves as a constant reminder of the daily sacrifices made by former students.
