Ortonville – Plans are underway for the Second Annual Ortonville Night at the Movies.
The contributions of residents and businesses allowed for more than 300 adults, parents, and school-aged children to experience the nostalgic drive-in movie atmosphere, right in their own backyard of Ortonville.
Parent groups from HT Burt and Harvey-Swanson Elementary schools will again sell beverages and candy to benefit the children and programs at their respective schools.Bridgewood Church will set up the moonwalk for children before the movie.
Just as last year, the free movie, with cartoon previews will be shown on a 20 feet by 40 feet screen with a state-of -the-art outdoor sound equipment.
More than 30 volunteers and donors made the first movie night a success and the organizing committee is again asking for the support of the community, seeking donations to bring the old-fashioned family time event back to the community again this year.
