Muriel G. Yuergens of Lake Orion passed away Jan. 11 at the age of 88.
Muriel was preceded in death by her husband Harold with whom she shared 48 years of marriage.
She is survived by her daughter Joanne (Roger) Buches and her granddaughter Rachel (Ryan) Hayes.
Muriel was active in Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for many years. She loved gardening, needlepointing, cooking and having her friends over to visit. Muriel was an avid Red Wings fan and would always curse the opposing team when one of her “Boys” would get injured.
The family received friends on Monday, Jan. 14, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Sparks-Griffin Funeral Home, Lake Orion and on Tuesday at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church.
