The Northeast Oakland Historical Museum in downtown Oxford has new hours for the summer months.
Now through August, the 1 N. Washington St. museum will be open on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 1-4 p.m. and on Friday from 5-8 p.m.
Summer visitors are in for a real treat as the museum is now featuring three showcases full of vintage Lone Ranger memorabilia.
The display, which runs through Labor Day, includes toys, masks, lunch boxes, photographs, record albums, kids? costumes, cereal boxes, advertisements, books, puzzles, games, comic strips and much, much more.
Everything is on loan from Romeo residents Dale and Judy Lopus who have a private Lone Ranger collection that consists of approximately 1,000 pieces accumulated over a period of 20 years.
