Clarkston Community Band performs a Holiday Concert, 7 p.m., Friday, Dec. 9, at Clarkston High School Performing Arts Center. The band will perform a variety of Christmas music from around the world, and will also feature the Bellisima Bell Choir. Admission is free but donations will be accepted. Very special guest Santa will direct the band on “Christmas Festival” and the perennial favorite, “Sleighride.”

Raffle tickets for a 2012 Chevy Camaro will be available through Dec. 12 Tickets are $50, proceeds benefiting Clarkston Bands and Orchestras. Clarkston Schools Instrumental Music Association is sponsoring the raffle.
If the goal of 750 tickets is reached, the winner of the bright red Camaro from Bowman Chevrolet will be announced Dec.13. If the goal is not reached, all money reverts to a 50/50 drawing.
