For the last several years he has lived in Sun Lakes, Arizona to be near his son Derek and family. Every year he would drive north to Oregon to visit his granddaughter Kayla then on to Montana to visit granddaughter Laura, her husband Kevin and their son Weston. Then it would be on to Michigan to visit all of his many loved friends and family here. He was blessed most recently by participating in a family celebration of the marriage of his granddaughter Kayla to Evan Klein on August 13, 2021. Neal was preceded in death by his parents, brother Colin Spicer and sister Yvonne Spicer Donnelly. He is survived by his brother Raymond Spicer, wife Pat and family, his son Anthony Spicer, wife Jodi and his four children Laura, Kayla, Jake and Luke; his daughter Bethany Spicer, and his son Derek Spicer, wife Sarah and their two children Dylan and Alyson. The family would like to acknowledge and thank Neal’s many dear friends, teammates and special neighbors for all of their love and care of Neal over the years. Neal’s remains have been cremated and the family will host a Celebration of Life on September 18, 2021 from 1-3 p.m. at St. Joseph Parish Hall located at 12145 Ray Rd., Gaines Michigan.
