Marilyn Paulsen-Tomaszewski has resigned from her position as recording secretary for the Orion Township Board of Trustees.
The position is independent contract, and the township is advertising the vacancy. The applicant must agree to attend two board meetings per month, and make an audio tape of the meeting while taking notes to help generate a set of minutes.
The position pays $160 per meeting (to be increased to $164 after six months of satisfactory work), or $190 per meeting (to be increased to $194 after six months) if the meeting includes one or more public hearings.
Paulsen-Tomaszewski’s last meeting was May 16.
