Workers with Deer Creek construction company pile dirt at the Clarkston Community Education Center on Waldon Road. The material will be used for new athletic fields for soccer, football, lacrosse, and other sports. Clarkston Community Schools hired Deer Creek for the fields across from Clarkston Elementary School, as well as the former South Sashabaw Elementary School grounds on Maybee Road, east of Sashabaw Road.
