The Lake Orion Marching Dragons competed in a Bands of America tournament on Saturday, Oct. 6. At the Pontiac Silverdome, the Dragons faced bands from seven different states, finishing first in Music, second in Marching, and second overall of the 18 bands competing.
Michael Steele, Director of Bands at LOHS, offered a ‘thank you to the many, many parent volunteers that make it possible. There are about forty parents behind the scenes who make it possible for these kids to do what they do.?
The Marching Dragons now head to the Clarkston Invitational of the Michigan Competing Bands Association to be held at the Clarkston High School at 8:15 p.m. on Oct. 20.
