Brandon Twp.- There will be no charges against two men who used eating utensils on each other during a drunken fight.
Oakland County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a knife fight in the 4300 block of Hazel Court in the Clarkston Lakes Estates Mobile Home Park at 11:27 p.m., Nov. 28. According to reports, the 30-year-old female resident and the victim, who is her current live-in boyfriend, had her ex-boyfriend and his male friend over to the home. All had consumed alcohol.
The ex-boyfriend reportedly stabbed the current boyfriend in the neck with a knife, causing a deep neck puncture wound. The knife victim used a fork on his assailant, which caused superficial facial cuts. Both were treated at area hospitals and were expected to make complete recoveries.
Both men have criminal histories.
The Oakland County Prosecutor’s Office declined to bring charges against either man, as they are considered mutual combatants and all involved had been drinking, said Oakland County Sheriff’s Office Detective Chris Pacholski.
