The Oakland County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a missing person.
On July 2, Kathy Burch, of Brandon Township, went into the Brandon Twp. Sub-Station to report
her husband, Timothy Burch, missing. She reported he has been missing for approximately 10 days.
Tim and Kathy are separated and living apart. Tim was in the
process of losing the house due to a foreclosure they shared when Kathy moved out. On July 2nd, Katherine returned to the shared home to get more belongings to find Tim missing and a note left for their sixteen-year-old daughter stating
she can have his pick up truck a Blue 2005 Chevy Silverado. The truck is also missing, according to deputies.
Friends and family members were contacted and no one has seen or heard from him.
Local Airports, hospitals, and jails have been contacted with negative results.
A special BOL was sent to Tawas City Police Dept. due to Tim being born, raised and still having contacts in the area.
Timothy Robert Burch is a white male, 54-years-old. He is 5’10” and weighs 165lbs. Brown eyes and
brown hair. Unknown on his last clothing description.
He is possibly driving a blue 2005 Chevrolet pick up truck. License plate of BQE-1216.
Tim has been placed in LEIN as a voluntary missing person at this time. Foul play is not suspected in his disappearance. However, a note left at the scene causes concern that he may attempt to harm himself.
Any person or officer that has any contact with Timothy Burch contact the Oakland County Sheriff’s TIP line at 1-888-TURN 1 IN.
Sheriff’s Detective Alderman is in charge of the case.
