Girls Varsity Golf
Due to the inclement weather last week, the scheduled golf outings for last Monday and Wednesday were postponed.
With a slight improvement in the temperature and snow melted off the course, the Lady Wildcat golfers competed in the Romeo Invitational at Heather Hills last Thursday.
According to varsity coach Terry Kelley, the official results were not yet available to the coaches as of Monday, and the golfer’s scores were not available.
However, Oxford did go home last Thursday after securing a fifth place finish in the 10 team invite, and Senior Beth Hubbard placed second individually with a low score of 100.
