OMS student helps veterans

Honorary Department Junior President Miranda Jones recently visited the Michigan Veterans Foundation for the Homeless to help her Junior Unit, Chief Pontiac 377 American Legion present six cases of shirts and hats to the veterans.
Along with her Junior Unit she visits the facility once a month to help serve a luncheon put on by the 18th District Unit members.
Her beautiful smile and her friendliness brings joy to all. She’s shown here presenting the National Sons of the American Legion Commander with her ‘special? bracelet ‘Soldiers Angels.?
Proceeds from this bracelet will go to Miranda’s special project–Michigan Youth Challenge Academy–‘Providing purpose and directions for the future of Michigan’s youth through education and structure.?
