One step back one step forward for kickers

After a tough 3-2 home loss on a late penalty kick against Farmington on April 12, Clarkston was able to put another tally in the win column with a 2-0 victory over Kimball on April 14 at the Clarkston Soccer Stadium.
The shutout against Kimball was goalkeeper Emily Pierce’s second of the season. Scoring for Clarkston against the Knights were Marie Timm and Kristen Mercado. Lauren Humphreys assisted on Mercado’s goal.
Mercado scored both Clarkston goals against Farmington.
The Wolves? tilts against Waterford Mott at Pierce Middle School on April 18 and West Bloomfield at the CSS on April 19 finished too late for this edition of The Clarkston News. Up next for Clarkston is an away match with Stevenson on April 22, followed by a home game against Seaholm on April 26.
Clarkston’s record now stands at 2-2-1.
