The Pop art of Jamie Davis will be on display at the Orion Art Center from August 10 through August 17.
Davis will be doing a live demo on Wednesday, August 12 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. during the Farmers Market.
Davis is a Pontiac artist. Her husband, Andrew Kuchon, a singer songwriter, will be performing on August 17 as part of the Music on the Porch series.
They just had their first baby, Cassius, and this is Davis’s first public art show. ?

Music and Art on the Porch
August brings Music on the Porch series to the Orion Art Center. This year, they are mixing different genres of music with different styles of art.
Bring your blanket or lawn chair and enjoy live music by the banks of Paint Creek from 7 p.m. to dusk. Concerts are free to the public.
Monday August 17, Andrew Kuchon–alternative acoustic singer songwriter–will perform in conjunction with the showing of pop artist Jamie Davis’s work.
On Monday, August 24, Jason Milan–a world class instrumental guitarist–will perform.
Carl Zoolkoski and Phyllis Bengry–piano-driven contemporary music–will perform on Monday, August 31 with the Windows of Opportunity window exhibit on display (sponsored by MORC, Inc.)
The Orion Art Center is located at 115 S. Anderson St. in downtown Lake Orion. In case of rain, music will be played inside the art center.

Wine tasting
The Orion Art Center invites you to the art of wine tasting at the beautiful lakefront home of the Reimann’s Saturday, August 22 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Fine wine and accompanying edibles will be on hand. The art center board of directors have been hosting successful wine tastings for the past several years to raise funds for the non-profit arts organization.
Last year’s summer wine tasting at the Lytle’s historic home was a sell-out, so call today to get on the list for another wonderful afternoon event. Tickets are $30 per person with limited space available.
