The Orion Township Parks and Recreation Department will offer free concerts at Civic Center Park, with the Pontiac-Waterford Big Chief Chorus and Quartet performing on June 20.
Big Chief will perform barbership melodies, Doo-Wop and patriotic songs.
Concerts are free, Tuesdays through Aug. 1, from 7:30-9 p.m. at the park, located next to Orion Township Hall at 2525 Joslyn Road. Please bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on.
Other performers will be First Baptist Church of Lake Orion on June 27, Rich Eddy’s Rockin? Oldies (Favorites from the 50’s and 60’s) on July 11, Reggie Harrison and Friends on July 18, Chautauqua Express (Happenings for Young People of All Ages), and Aug. 1, Blackthorn (Music of Ireland).
