At the school board meeting Jan. 12, 31 Orion educators were awarded mini-grants worth $1,000 each from the Lake Orion Education Foundation.

Winners include Dayna Daw, Janet Fox, Teri Jacobson, Jody Owens, Patricia Lareau, Katie Barney, Marilyn Crandell, Jackie Storts, Nicole Pelletier, Pilar Mazur, Jessica Kropeg, Tammy Oberle and Dee Vermeulen, Carrie Price, Dawn Burks, Jennifer DiMaggio, Michele Smyth, Jillian Scarborough, John Blackstock, Debbie VanderMaas, Carol Burke, Daniel Hunter, Jennifer Gosselin and Pam Craft, Eric Bourque, Michele Novak, Zac Abeel, Jill Rossler, Suzanne Demy, Julie Stucky and Marcene Glowicki.
