2016-2017 Budget Workshop

June 8, 2016 – 7:00 P.M

Trustees Present:

Dylus, Brice, McClerren, Skornicka, Wills

Absent:

Eschmann and Baker with notice

Meeting called to order at 7:03 p.m.

1. Approved the agenda as amended.

2. Manager Lee presented the budget proposal he developed in conjunction with former manager, Lyons, and treasurer Beth Forys. He reviewed each account and explained any variations in appropriations from last year to the upcoming budget year 2016-2017.

3. Council discussed each of the budget line items, made adjustments and asked the village manager to look into and clarify some expenses for the next meeting.

4. Deferred Cedar Street rehabilitation project funding to 2016-2017.

5. Decided to expand the village sidewalk network as well as purchase a new snow plow.

6. Meeting adjourned at 9:12 p.m.
