Oxford Colts rack up 161 points

Oxford fifth-graders, Gavin Marsden, Evan Rehandorf, Eddie Bieniasz, Carl Bailey, Ben Cruz and Jack Brown played in the Midwestern Classic which is a multi-state Championship.
This group of boys scored 161 points over the weekend and their superior defense did not give up one point the entire weekend. More impressive, they only gave up one first down in the entire tournament.
The team quarterback, Eddie Bieniasz through for multiple TD passes with his rocket arm. Both speedsters Gavin Marsden and Evan Rehandorf caught, ran, and had multiple interceptions for TD scores over the weekend.
Defensive specialist, Carl Bailey was an animal up the front as a pass rusher and caused havoc for the other team’s quarterback. He also scored multiple times on offense with his power rungame. Both Ben Cruz and Jack Brown played fantastically as wide outs and running backs to put in multiple scores as well, not to mention their superior defense at corner breaking up key passes and runs throughout the tournament.
“This team is the fastest and most aggressive team that I have ever had the honor to coach” says, Coach Gary Rehandorf. ‘It is a testament to the heart of each of these boys. Congrats Oxford Colts.?
