Sweetest Day is approaching fast and while debating plans for Oct. 15, The Learning Experience will cover the babysitting.
The Learning Experience will offer Parents’ Night Out on the special night from 6-10 p.m., watching kids of all ages.
“We have them periodically throughout the year,” said Pam Rush, owner of the childcare facility.
“It is nice for all involved,” she added. “Parents can have a night out and they can bring their children someplace safe.”
The opportunity is great for parents especially if they just moved to the area and don’t have a babysitter or family and friends to watch their children.
The young women watching over the children for the evening work for The Learning Experience. Not only are they familiar and comfortable working with the kids but are CPR certified and have had a background check.
While parents are out on the town, children are enjoying a night in playing with other kids and enjoying numerous activities.
Rush explained it is like a sleepover party but without sleeping over.
The children arrive in their pajamas with their blankets and pillows. Then, they enjoy a pizza party, a sundae bar, making a craft and watching movies.
“The kids love to come,” Rush smiled. “It is different here. They are excited to come.”
They welcome children of all ages and have three of their rooms open especially for the infants and toddlers.
The Learning Experience offers another Parents Night Out on Dec. 10, 6-10 p.m. for another opportunity for parents to go out, do some holiday shopping or to relax. They plan another for Valentine’s Day.
“We try to coordinate with special events,” said Rush. “We look for the occasions people want to go out.”
The cost is $20 per child and $10 for each additional child.
