The developer of Orion Pointe will be allowed to use 20 feet of property belonging to the Village of Lake Orion on Pelton’s Point.
The Village Council voted to approve a license agreement drafted by Village Attorney Gary Dovre on April 10.
Three council members, President Bill Siver, President Pro-Tem Ken Van Portfliet, and council member Douglas Dendel, were not present at the meeting to vote on the agreement.
Village Manager JoAnn Van Tassel noted that none of the missing council members had forwarded any comments to her about the issue.
