Three man were arrested by Independence Township police while apparently stealing a radio/CD player from a car at the park and ride on Sashabaw Road at around 8:45 p.m.
The suspects, two males from Davisburg, 17 and 18 years old, and an 18-year-old Clarkston man, possessed several other stolen items in their vehicle and tools allegedly used for the break in.
The following day, the three returned numerous stolen items to the Independence Township substation from what appeared to be a string of thefts in Indepedence and Springfield Townships. The matter remains under investigation.
