Storm sewers in the Village of Lake Orion on Broadway, Anderson, Slater and Lapeer Streets will be televised, to determine their condition and if any repairs are needed.
Village Manager JoAnn Van Tassel said $22,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds are allocated for the project, and must be used this year.
‘The county will recapture the funds if we don’t use them,? she said.
Data collected will be used to determine an estimate for work needed. Sewers between the east-west boundaries of Washington and M-24, and the north-south boundaries of Elizabeth and Flint, would be looked at.
