Proud mom Marie Schlautmann, 91, of Clarkston, shared with The Clarkston News her son, on left, Dr. James Raush, a New Hampshire state representative, presented a New Hampshire state flag, which was flown aboard Columbia STS 109, a Hubble space telescope servicing mission, to New Hampshire Speaker of the House, Gene Chandler in November. Astronaut Dr. Rick Linnehan had given the flag, which orbited Earth 165 times and covered 3.9 million miles in more than 262 hours in space, to the House of Representatives. Rausch is in his second term as state representative and is a 28-year Derry, N.H. resident and retired veterinary doctor.
