ATLAS TOWNSHIP BOARD OF TRUSTEES

REGULAR MEETING MONDAY, DECEMBER 17, 2018 AT 5:30PM

Members present: T. Onica, K. Vick, B. June, P. Major

Members absent:  A. Moore

Staff present: D. Lattie, S. Bullen, E. Klimek

The board took the following actions:

1) Approved the agenda as amended.

2) Approved the consent agenda.

3) Approved resolution 18-23 Genesee County Sheriff’s contract.

4) Approved to authorize Fire Chief up to $6,200 for replacement/upgrade to Motor & Pump Grass Rig 21-17.

5) Approved GCRC crack seal agreement.

6) Approved GCRC 50/50 Allocations.

7) Approved Trustee to solicit 3 bids for scoping for Ridge R.

8) Approved to direct the Township Building Inspector to request 3 quotes for sidewalk extension.

9) Approved to amend to remove President’s Day, Veteran’s Day and Columbus Day from 2019 Township Holiday closing schedule.

10) Approved to amend Atlas Township Meeting Calendar from Tuesday, February 19th to Monday February 18, 2019.

11) Adopted motion for Deputy Treasurer to receive holiday pay for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

12) Approved the motion to table implementing an employee benefit policy until the January Meeting.

13) Adopted to amend agenda to add item #14 “Inclement Weather Policy”.

14) Adopted to schedule budget work sessions for January 10, January 24, February 7 and February 21 at 5:30PM.

15) Adopted to appoint Tere Onica as elected Official and Paulette Johnson as citizen Representative to the Genesee County Metropolitan Alliance as Atlas Township Representatives.

16) Adopted to postpone consideration of cyber and data insurance quotes until January.

17) Adopted the recommendation to hire a part-time Office Assistant at $12/Hour up to 20 hours per week.

18) Approved to Adopt inclement weather policy 18-02.

19) Motion to adjourn.
