NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
The Brandon Township Planning Commission shall hold a public hearing JANUARY 24, 2017 beginning at 7:00 p.m. at the Brandon Township Office, 395 Mill Street, Ortonville, Michigan 48462.
To consider the following Ordinance amendments:
Chapter 46, Article IV. Section 46-242 (1) c. Accessory building and structures.
Amend exceptions to allow for detached accessory buildings in residential front yards where lots are abutting navigable lakes and canals.
Chapter 46, Article IV. Section 46-242 (1) d. 5 Accessory building and structures.
Amend by increasing the square footage of an attached accessory building to 1200 sq. ft. in RE zoning district.
Chapter 46, Article IV. Accessory building and structures.
Amend by adding Section 46-242 (5). That zoning permits are required where a building permit is not required for an accessory building and structures.
